MelMax^® and the containing buckwheat honey is able to bind significantly free oxygen radicals who are abundant in the bed of chronic wounds. This improves the process of wound healing. Because of the specific, thin configuration of the dressing MelMax^® should be used especially in rather flat wounds without deep areas.

 

MelMax^® is a sterile dressing. The buckwheat honey used in MelMax^® is certified and free of toxic agents.
